I am an employee and I really felt sad seeing those people carrying their boxes out, finding themselves suddenly unemployed. “There is no such thing as a “secure” job”, they say, and really, this statement once again hits the nail on the head, as one of the largest investment companies folded.
After hearing the news, I got scared at first, but more than that, it gave me some kind of a boost on reaching my (financial) goals faster. I can do this.

hi eds. it’s really sad. maski bear stearns w/c has been around 100 years+ wasn’t safe. it’s unnerving especially when you see the dow fluctuating so much intraday never mind one day. i haven’t even checked my 401k since this started. nahadlok ko! hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel and greedy people will learn from this! grrrr…
